Purpose of Data Processing

We will process your personal data for the following purposes:

• for the purpose of establishing, managing, and conducting the business relationship
• To strengthen the existing business relationship or develop new services and, where commissioned by the customer and/or supplier:
• For order entry and order processing
• for managing customer master data, including customs procedures
• for creating and sending outgoing invoices and credit memos
• For processing incoming invoices and credit memos
• for processing payments
• To prepare quotations. Where we collect your personal data directly from you, providing it is generally voluntary. However, if you do not provide your personal data, we may be unable to fulfil our contract, or may be able to fulfil it only in part.

Legal Basis for Processing

If you are a prospective or potential future customer and/or supplier, we process your contact details for direct marketing by email or telephone only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are our customer and/or supplier, we process your personal data because this is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Transfer of Personal Data

Where strictly necessary for the purposes described in Section 1, we transfer your personal data to the following recipients:

• IT service providers we use, as well as other service providers involved in
  marketing activities
• Accountants and auditors for auditing purposes
• Partners and legal representatives working on our behalf
• Insurers in connection with an insurance contract relating to the service or an insured event (e.g. liability insurance)
• Administrative authorities, courts, and public-law entities (e.g.,
  customs office)
  Some of the recipients listed above may be located outside of Austria
  or may process your personal data outside of Austria. The
  level of data protection in other countries may not correspond to that
  of Austria. We therefore take measures to ensure that all
  recipients provide an adequate level of data protection. To this end, we
  enter into standard contractual clauses (2018/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC), for example.

Retention period

We generally retain your personal data until the business relationship in which we collected it ends, or until the applicable statutory limitation and retention periods expire. We may retain the data beyond this time until any legal disputes for which it is needed as evidence have ended. If you are a customer and/or supplier, a former customer and/or supplier, a prospective or future customer, or a contact person for any of these parties, we retain your personal data for marketing purposes until you object or withdraw your consent, where the marketing activity is based on your consent.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

Your rights regarding your personal data include the following:

(i) You may check whether we process personal data about you.

You may find out which data we process and obtain copies of it.

(ii) You may request correction, completion or deletion of your personal data.

This applies where the data is inaccurate or is not processed lawfully.

(iii) You may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

(iv) In certain circumstances, you may object to the processing of your personal data or withdraw your previously given consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

(v) If you are our customer and/or supplier, you may request data portability.

(vi) You may find out the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is disclosed.

(vii) You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
